    The word Taiga is Russian for forest. The taiga biome is the largest biome in the world besides the ocean. These locations are known to be harshly cold and the climate is hard to adapt to. With miles upon miles of open land and needle tree forests a taiga can be a lonely place to live or visit. I chose this biome due to it being the least known to me. Upon researching the biome I found it very intriguing even though it is a lonely cold space of land.
