    This class has helped me realize my potential as a leader. While not always great at team efforts in the past, I have since become adept at handling different personalities and situations. My ideas of leadership have been affected as well. While not totally gone, my old notions have been impacted by new ideas of team dynamics. Aiding this learning of new ideas is the group I was assigned to. I have made friends with the members of this group and would trust them with almost anything I would normally need to rely on others for. There were both high and low points in the semester, but I have not let them dampen my outlook, choosing to focus on the high points. In all, I feel this class was worth taking. Through this semester, I feel like I have simultaneously discovered my own inclinations toward leadership while developing a new respect for other styles. There was a time where I was not great at working in groups. I would challenge any member of the group who made things difficult or took charge by self-election. As I have matured, I have learned to keep a level head while dealing with these situations. This maturity has been put to the test so far in our group activities. I have learned to let others take the reins when it’s best for the situation. Previously, I believed leadership was a position that a strong and inspiring leader was elected to by his peers.
