Every Saturday morning I get a jolt of excitement in anticipation of the forty-five minutes of wonder I know are soon to delight my senses, forty-five minutes of adventure, fear, and the devilish world of Steven Moffat. Doctor Who is my all time favorite TV show, a show that follows the exploits of the time travelling Doctor and his intrepid companions across the universe. The cleverest thing about this show is, of course, the time travelling part, for it acts as an easy method for the writers to put the main characters in any number of improbable situations. There is no way of telling what could happen next, and thus the series never grows stale without such frivolous things as continuity and plausibility holding the story back. Perhaps I like this show because its infinite possibilities help me forget the dull rhythm that life can become, and lets me see the beauty in the world around me, feel my potential to do something spectacular rather than just another speck of dust to be swept under the couch. Tuesday's and Thursday's I get home feeling exhausted, but accomplished after an intense series of intense duels characterized by attempting stab the opponent with a long pointy object while also trying not to be stabbed myself. As silly as it sounds when broken down into its basic parts,…

As…
