    The book I read was Edgewater by Courtney Sheinmel. It has 317 pages. The main characters are Lorrie Hollander, her sister Susannah, their aunt Gigi, Lennox, and Charlie Copeland. The story takes place in Idlewild, New York. The main conficlict is that Lorrie and her sister are completely out of money and all traces of their trust fund were completely erased. Lorrie i stelling the story. The first day of every month, Lorrie's mother transfers money into her daughters trust fund, enough to give them everything they need.Money for tuiton, boarding her horse, and a fancy equestrian camp, along with essentails such as food, water, clothes, and house and phone bills. When Lorrie is sent homee from camp "due to unsufficient funds" this worries Lorrie. She succesfully gets a plane ticket home where her best friendLennox picks her up and drives her home. Lorrie unpacks and gets some much-needed rest. The next day, LOrrie sets out to find out why they dont have have any money. This is a challenge, due to the fact that there is barely a gallon of gas in her car. At the gas station with only eight dollars, Lorrie cant get enough gas to get her to the bank and backhome. This is wherre Charlie Copeland comes in. The Copelands are one of the biggest and most important families in the world. A long line of former adn future senators, the family has everything they could ask for. As a result, Lorrie does a double take when Charlie, the senator's son is behind her in line at the station…
