Bloods vs. Crips Mrs. Stubbs-Mesumbe Period 5B Ike Anamelechi November 27, 2016 The Bloods and the crips are easily some of the most violent and famous gangs to ever be created. They were both founded in Los Angeles. These two gangs have been rivals for about their entire history as a gang. The Crips were founded in 1969 by Raymond Washington and Stanley Williams. Not long after that , the Bloods formed from a lot of smaller gangs including the Pirus to become rivals for the Crips. The straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak, was when some Crip members robbed and killed a man by the name of Robert Ballou Jr. This is what really made all of the smaller gangs realize that they need each other to even compete with the Crips. They had a meeting with each other and decided to band together and become the Bloods. Now that they are bigger and have more sets now the Bloods can really be rivals for the Crips. This was a…

additional violence without losing enormous support in a transition from demonstrative to destructive. It still needs a large amount of community support, as is evident in its call to action of additional Supreme members, but if it reaches a point where its popularity is undisputed even against Liberty and Honor, it would be much harder to use the tactic of threatening its base of supporters. Being able to correctly recognize what phase One Way is in determines whether the strategy of narratives…

The theory has a lot of holes that come with it. The strengths of the theory are that there is evidence that peers who hang out with friends with low-self-control will most likely be involved in delinquent. Also, another strength includes it being pair up the positivist school. (Akers, 1991, p. 13). It also…
