    A hero is not somebody who fights crimes or defeats the antagonist of a story, in fact that is a superhero. A superhero is a fictional man or woman who has powers that are unknown to man kind. A hero is a normal human being who goes about their daily lives just like everyone else, except for the fact that they make a change in peoples lives. In the “Letter from Birmingham Jail” King is standing up for is believe about segregation and racism and how he will follow through with his plans in direct action. Throughout the letter King mentions other men who stand up for their right and how they are considered to be a hero. He also tells us what makes them a hero and what he think a hero should be like as a person. Being known has a hero is a huge honor but however you must be dedicated and put your time into helping other peoples life’s better. When being a hero you are known has a hero because of your strong personality and dedication. One of King’s beliefs is that segregation was wrong and cruel and that it must come to an end. King did whatever he could in his power to try to stop segregation not only to make himself feel good but to make the negroes that were being discriminated feel like they are worth something. “I am in Birmingham because injustice is here” (par 3).
