students ages 15 to 18. The results indicate that Monday through to Wednesday the most common association is stress. 41% of people relate Monday to stress and 32% of people relate Tuesday and Wednesday to stress. It can be inferred that the high percentages of stress is directly correlated to the fact that those are the beginning days of a school week. School is proven to cause stress and given the fact that new lessons are taught and assignments are generally introduced in the beginning of the week the results of the survey are accurate. The same survey was given to a group of teacher. The results between the two groups of people are similar; Sunday and Monday are the days that have the highest percentage of stress with Sunday having 56% and Monday having 44%. Several teachers have been interviewed and it has been concluded that Sunday is the most common stress day because of the last minute lesson plan preparation for the week to follow and various other school related issues. Monday is the second most common stress day due to similar reasons. There has been a study conducted by the University of Sydney titled “Stereotypes of the Working Week”.
