Strong AI incorporates dynamic processes associated with the cognitive processes of intelligent life, whereas weak AI aims to produce output that merely mimics intelligence. Strong AI has developed from research using neural networks (large collections of machine neurons). The inspiration for This research is based primarily on what we know about of the inner workings of the human brain. Neural networks are designed to be adaptive, changing structure in accordance with whatever input they are…

These forces are so important, they are in existence throughout the entire universe. Black holes, the formation of planets, galaxies and stars are all because of gravity and these same celestial bodies have their own electromagnetic forces and the strong and weak nuclear forces are. Since everything in the universe is made of atoms, there is strong nuclear force everywhere around us. Also, because radioactive material decays over time, the weak nuclear force is important to our safety. The…

In “ Is the Brain’s Mind a Computer Program, “ John R. Searle presents an interesting argument against strong artificial intelligence proponents. Believers of strong artificial intelligence contend that a computer that can pass the Turing test is displaying cognitive ability. The Turing test basically states that if a computer can function in such a way that an expert can not distinguish its performance from that of a human who has a certain cognitive ability, such as the ability to understand a…

Qn1 Ans Decision tree analysis will involve step determination of the chemical and physical characteristics of this chemical. By knowing them, it will be very easy to determine the best control method to be employed. Firstly, the compound is corrosive and it therefore suggests that it is highly reactive and use of water and any other chemicals that can lead to an undesired chemical reaction will be ruled out. Also, the spilled chemical is producing fumes, mostly it suggests that it is either a…

The difference in the meaning of AI and AGI come from the old definition and expectations of what AI was compared to the one we know today. There was a proposal made to research AI at Dartmouth College in 1955 which stated: The study is to proceed on the conjecture that every aspect of learning or any other feature of intelligence can in principle be so precisely described that a machine can be made to simulate it. (McCarthy, Minsky, Rochester & Shannon, 1955, p. 13) This idea of AI is the…

The stories “Strong Poison/A Room of One’s Own,” bring up many points and the ideal roles of the norms of what men and women should be doing in society. Mr. Wimsey was one of the only men in Strong Poison that behaved outside of the norm of “masculinity.” He actually believed that women had rights and should be treated like human beings. This can be shown when he speaks to other women and when he gives them opportunities to help with his investigation throughout the novel. Other men in the novel…

This means that and acid will increase the concentration of hydrogen ions and bases will increase the concentration of hydroxide ions .e.g. Hydrochloric acid ionizes in water to release hydrogen ions: HCl → H+ + Cl-. Sodium hydroxide (base) will ionize in water to release hydroxide ions: NaOH → Na+ + OH-. Finally, the Lewis definition, which states that acidic substances will accept an electron pair and…

AI is divided into three calibers: artificial narrow intelligence (ANI), artificial general intelligence (AGI), and artificial superintelligence (ASI) (Andros). ANI is called the weak AI with the ability to only perform one task. If an ANI was programed to identify a specific breed of dog, cat, or bird, the ANI will accurately identify the specific animal. When an ANI is programed with its one task, the AI cannot learn or do anything else, but, the task it is programmed to do is done well…
