    slow pitch the ball is much smaller. During the game of slow pitch, there are seven innings but sometimes they end at the fourth or fifth inning due to run rule. When the ball is pitched it is arch with a slow speed that lands right behind the plate (Difference between slow-pitch). Slow pitch requires a different pitch that has less speed. When the ball is pitched it’s suppose to be thrown with an arch between six foot to twelve feet high (Difference between Slow-pitch). The pitcher pitches the ball underhand which makes it much more easier to hit. The batter is encouraged to hit the ball and get it put in play (Difference between slow-pitch). When the ball is hit, it forces the defensive team to make good strong plays. In slow pitch, strikeouts are very rare. The pitcher pitches with half of a windmill (Slowpitch vs Fastpitch). It features more hits because the scores are high. The pitcher’s mound is fifty feet away from the plate (Slowpitch vs Fastpitch). When the catcher is catching the glove is rested on the ground. The strike zone is debatable because of it coming in as an arch. The strikes have to be higher than six feet and for a “ball” it’s either under six feet (flat) or above twelve feet. For slow pitch there is more players in the outfield. With more players out in the outfield there is less field to cover because there is four outfielders.
