    suddenly become aware and this was only the beginning. Of course like every trial known to the world , there are numerous ways of how the story went but in the end only one story can matter. On the night of March 3,1991 king along with 2 other passengers Bryant Allen and Freddie Helms had gotten into a high speed on the 210 freeway of San Fernando Valley. Eight miles into the chase king exited the freeway and was surrounded by lapd officers until the first five police officers arrived. These officers go by the name of Stacey Koon, Laurence Powell, Timothy Wind, Theodore Briseno, and Rolando Solano. Allen, Helms, and King were ordered to draw from the vehicle and lay face down on the ground. When done so officers took action and the physical harassment had begun. Bryant Allen was kicked,stomped, and man handled along with Freddie Helms who was hit in the head while lying on the ground. Both victims suffered minor abuse compared to Rodney King. Sergeant Koon ordered four of the officers to handcuff king with the method called “swarm”. King began to resist which triggered the sudden commotion. Keep in mind king was unarmed but yet suffered as if he were a threat to police officers that outnumbered him. He was tasered twice, strike with a baton several times, handcuffed, cord cuffed, and kicked. King took 33 blows to the head plus 6 kicks scaring him for life.
