    As I entered the University of Southern Florida and enrolled in my first college classes, I had no idea what “Academic Foundations” meant. I thought that it was going to be a class about how to write papers, take tests, and use a computer. So naturally, I wasn’t too thrilled. The term “academic” doesn’t normally scream fun. I originally thought that I was going to learn a bunch of stuff that I already knew and didn’t need help with. However, I am happy to say that I couldn’t have been more wrong. Academic Foundations actually turned out to be an extremely helpful and interesting class. In fact, I would probably recommend the class to all USF freshmen.
