bike slid out from underneath of me. My finger got caught in the handlebars, the bike was sliding ripping off the skin and flesh. I tried to pull my finger out and I ripped it off, I lyed on the ground for a little while not knowing what was going on. When I stood up I began to get light headed so I sat back down and looked up at my cousins and they were laughing at me until they saw my finger. Then their faces went from happy to shocked in a matter of seconds. I stood there not knowing what to do, until my cousin told me to run to the house. I took off running to my house I still couldn’t feel it because I was in shock. I got to the front door blood was squirting out of my finger after every heartbeat. I stood there letting the blood squirt all over the door. I tried to open the door but I couldn’t. I began to beat on the door as hard as I could, until my mom opened the door. She went outside and asked my cousin what has happened, and then she came back up to the house and sent my uncle back out to pick up my finger. My uncle put my finger in a bread bag with ice in it. She got me a white towel to put on my finger to try to stop the bleeding, but in a matter of seconds the towel was red. She rushed me to the hospital.
