    The Spice Girls were an iconic girl band that held major influence over fashion choices for young girls in the 90’s. The five “Spices” each embodied a unique symbolic attitude that clearly encouraged an individual diversity of style (Fuller, 2013). In a sense they offered the freedom to choose from a series of personalities that embodied the style of femininity. The girls were trendsetters with their unique sense of style, still inspiring us today. The prominent idea for the five girls style was though identity. Each of the girls wore what their personalities represented, leading to their individualistic trends.
