Most characters in these satirical stories may not relate to their true predecessors of biblical books but will spin off the origins with alternative motives. For instance, modern super villain named Apocalypse in Marvel Comic’s X-Men is a monstrous tyrant who recruits mutants to form his own Four Horsemen of Apocalypse to destroy the world. And in a TV episode of Robot Chicken, Four Horsemen are referenced to as "Apocalypse Ponies," parodying both My Little Pony and the Four Horsemen.
