Somaly Mam is a well-known public speaker and human sex trafficking activist. On May 8th 2012, she spoke about her work with human sex trafficking in Cambodia, her organization Somaly Mam Foundation, as well as a little about herself. She gave this talk at the Oslo Freedom Forum, but I watched the speech on Youtube where it has 5,204 views, so this speech has reached many. She started off her speech by telling her story, a heartbreaking and touching one. She herself was sold into sex slavery at a brothel and was raped daily. The choice to tell her compelling story was a good and interesting way to open the speech and get the audience’s attention. Right from the start she gained attention, sympathy, and trust by sharing her story of survival.…
and of course, go from a two to a ten. The magic of that is foundation which comes in a variety of shades for every skin tone out there. However, not all foundations are the same. For example, my first time wearing foundation at the young age of fourteen, I wore starlight beige from Cover Girl thinking it would hide my freckles and pimples, yet I did not know I would be the laughing- stock in middle school with people saying I looked like an Oompa loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory…

beauty of a building you should look at; it’s the construction of the foundation that will stand the test of time,’ was a famous quote by David Allen Coe, quote provided by blogger guy (2015). As the quote states, without the great consideration that goes into the construction of the foundation, it would not matter how beautiful the building is as over time the building would collapse. Foundations provide a medium for the loads to be transferred from the structure to the ground, there are many…

It is important to keep in mind that achieving a globally agreed-upon definition for wilderness is difficult, and may not even be entirely necessary. However, a common definition of wilderness is an uncultivated, uninhabited, and inhospitable region. It is an area essentially undisturbed by human activity together with its naturally developed life community. Wilderness leaves no place for human beings, save perhaps as…
Literature Review 1. Mentoring is becoming one of the most popular social interactions in the United States today, with an estimated 3 million youth in formal one on one relationship (Rhodes & DuBois 2006, pg 254). Youth mentoring is shown to help youth, especially those at risk in terms of education, problem behavior job readiness, reduction in substance abuse or other anti -social behavior.
