    The Difference between Detergent and Soap The reason for this case study is to dissect the Difference between detergent and soap. In this case study, I will define the meaning of the cleaning agents, I will give you an introductory, I will discover how they are made, I will discover how they work, and why one cleaning agents is better than the other. This case study will be designed using the descriptive scientific method. The meanings of Detergent and Soap A detergent is a substance that cleans soiled surfaces. Soap is a type of detergent; But detergent usually refer only to synthetic detergents, which have a different chemical makeup than the soap. Detergents which contain enzymes will remove stains more effectively than those common soaps that do not contain the chemicals detergents have in them. The Hypothesis When working on cars I use detergent, because detergent will clean my hands better than soap. Introductory of Detergent and Soap Detergents and soaps are made into bars, flakes, granules, liquids, and tablets. People wash their bodies with soap and they shampoo their hair with soap. People brush their teeth with some type of soap and detergent. Physicians use soap on wound to kill germs that cause infection.
