The Truth About Santa Currently, the Postal Office has a program called “Letters from Santa”. This program allows parents send their children’s letters addressed to Santa Claus, North Pole. They also send the response from Santa in the same envelope, and the Post Office return the response to the kids. In addition, the Postal Service has a program named “Operation Santa”, in which, many postal employees respond to the letters by providing a written response signed by Santa, while other Post Offices may work with local schools, municipalities and community groups who volunteer for this task. It is up to families.” Although Santa Claus is a mythical figure, its belief starts with the history of a great Christian man named Saint Nicholas of Myra. He became a priest at a young age and he was known for his compassion and generosity. He had a reputation for giving gifts anonymously, and he would throw bags of money into people 's homes. Many parents do not know as to whether or not they should play the “Santa game" with their children. On one hand, he makes Christmas fun and magical, leaving wonderful holiday memories for years to come…

However, the character of Mr. Break-and-Enter (sorry kids, he is just a character) can be traced back to St. Nicholas, a 4th century patron saint of sailors, merchants, and beer brewers from modern-day Turkey.
