The other day I interviewed the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. I interviewed their Historian, because she’s in charge of community service and other events. Sigma Gamma Rho Historian is Tynisha Brown. During the interview I asked her 3 questions to get started. Question 1: How is your organization family involved with the community? o Tynisha: Our organization is family involved, because we are always doing activities or events that the community and families are involve in. We volunteered at Foster Night Out, Literacy Night, Boys and Girls Club, and many more. Our favorite would have to be Bear Crew; we consider that as a family involvement project. Question 2: What are some other ways to get involve with the families? o I feel like the organization can be more involve with the schools more. One of our nation projects is Project Big Bookbag, which we gather school supplies and make backpacks and hand them out to the schools. range and are used when cancer cells are close to the skin. Both types of x-rays and gamma rays penetrate deeper than electrons, however the dose absorbed by the tissue decreases exponentially. For protons, as the depth increase so does the absorption. Unlike other types of particles, the peak for protons is very steep and only for a certain exact depth. The advantage of this pattern in energy deposition is that minimal energy is affecting healthy tissues as opposed to the malignant cancer…

Ionizing radiation is high energy waves that pass the body's tissue, that produces positive and negative charged particles. These high energy waves remove electrons from atoms and cause an interaction between the x rays and the patient. This process is referred to as ionizing radiation. The amount of energy acquired from ionizing radiation is absorbed into the patients…
