    very bored waiting for my friends to get back to college, due to Alabama’s long breaks. I decided to see if I could finish mad men. It turns out I definitely could, and I did. I watched the next two seasons of the show ("Love Among the Ruins" to “Tomorrowland”), before I realized what I was doing and that I needed to pace myself, like a junkie or crack addict. But that modicum of self-discipline was not to last, as I then watched another season ("A Little Kiss" to “The Phantom”) in a day before I realized that I was losing it. At that point, I was toast, and watched the sixth season ("The Doorway"to "In Care of") and season 7A ("Time Zones" to "Waterloo"), at which point it was four in the morning and I felt like I had just partied with Sid Vicious. I called it a night. The next morning, I got up, made popcorn for breakfast, and went downstairs to finish the journey on my parent’s big TV ("Severance" to “Person to Person”). And I did. And at the end, I felt like I had just been emotionally pummeled. The finale was the worst that I had ever watched, and I watch a lot of TV. It was worse than Lost, somehow. And it was definitely worse than How I Met Your Mother. It was like going to a three star restaurant and ordering a Hot Pocket. Or buying a Ferrari and having it be pulled behind a horse.
