History as a closed, uncontested story is evident in The Night of The Shooting Stars, because it is told like a bed time story, which displays this magical realism. Throughout the film there is no protagonist, not many close ups, and the story is being told by the perspective of an eight year old girl. The history seems inaccurate which creates uncertainties because the event does not come from a single perspective. For example, the scene where the little girl is about to get killed by a solider…

“No, I’ve got it. My car is out front too so I can drive him the motel you’re all staying at.” Maison looked up at Dean, even though they weren’t sure it was true. At that moment, everyone being together was far too much for Maison to deal with. One person at a time and normally that would be Rachel, but right now Castiel needed her more than Rachel did. “It’s the Shooting Star motel, about twenty miles back on the outskirts of town. We’ve got the rooms at the far end. Here, take our room and…

sounds and screams it sounded like an older man. One of the soldiers, probably the one who was hit by the club, yelled, “Fire”. All I saw was smoke and all I heard were screams. I knew that at least three people were dead. After all the smoke had cleared out there was complete silence. There were five dead bodies on the ground. Some squirming and some still as a rock. The white snow was turning deep red. I was shocked and my ears were ringing so I couldn’t hear anything. Then I realized that I…

The star outside your spaceship's windshield is a spectacular sight. HR 5171 A is a fireball 1,300 times larger than the Earth's sun. It's so big that if it were in our sun's position, it would swallow up Earth beneath its 10,000°F surface. To look at it from your spaceship, you have to wear special goggles--this star is almost a million times brighter than our sun. As you watch HR 5171A burn, you notice something strange. An object is peeking over the horizon, growing larger and larger. It's…

From Monta Ellis to Zach LaVine, there are are plethora of talented guys to anchor your fantasy rosters this season. So, here are my favorite…
