This ad had the effect of lighten bolts which shock the consumers and open their eyes to a form of evil; this led to sympathy for the characters in the ad and a public outcry for its removal. Whenever trying to ride the wall of unorthodox and orthodox behavior there is a thin line that if crossed, will be an interruption in our everyday routine. In my view, the most satisfactory explanation is that Caribu wanted to be noticed, because the antics of the controversial advisement. Others might emphasize the explanation of difference in culture, but I find this less convincing because of the use of a little girl and this I believe is a contradictory issue in any culture.
