    Under my breath Juana repeated an ancient magic to guard against such evil, and on top of that she muttered spoke a Hail Marry Between every breath and with the soft sounds of chattering teeth. My body slowly inching forward, slowly and gracefully. My hands shaking like the wind whistling though the willow trees, with my hands clammy like the clam I am, and my eyes were on the scorpion. Beneath it is my child our child Coyotito,reaching and giggling, in the handing in the box underneath the deadly scorpion. Coyotito reaching up at it it sensed danger and shot its tail upward like the shotgun in a rodeo. I stood perfectly still. I could still hear Juana whispering her ancient old magic. Coyotito playfully trying to catch the scorpion. I could not move until the scorpion moved. My hand moved forward very slowly and carefully. The thorned tail jerked forward. And at that motion Coyotito shook the rope making the scorpion fall. My hand leaped to catch it, but its scaly body and rough body fell past my hands,falling on the baby’s shoulder landing and striking its long furfuraceous tail in to the shoulder making the baby cry Bloody Mary. Then I grabbed it and rubbing it into a thick brown paste, then betting it into the ground with my bare feet. Juana is taking the baby and sucking the poison out and then spitting it out.
