In class, we started to use open mind map to analyse the project. A mind map is a diagrammatic representation of varied elements that relate to a particular subject. Mind maps are used for solving problems, for creating to-do-list for, promoting creative ideas, and for discussing different elements of the project planning stage. This made me more organised because I knew the things I would need to add. Moreover, using open minds meant that I could make use of colours, image, and symbols to organise information in a clear, easy to understand manner. This meant that it would look more appealing and stand out. Also, if I made an error and wrote the wrong information. I can easily change this by clicking on the text. It is less time consuming. This is a simple technique. However, I was a beginner to this software. Therefore, by learning the basic skills meant that I was able to learn additional skills, which are more advanced. The strengths of creating a mind map for this project. It is also easy to add ideas later, at any time and it helps you to focus on…

Systemic semantics includes what is usually called 'pragmatics'. Semantics is divided into three…

Roethke’s “My Papa’s Waltz” is a poem that contradicts itself as a whole many times. When reading it, there are two contrasting ideas that can be visualized. He uses certain words that are playful while also using words that have a clearly negative connotation to tell this story between a father and son. Other times, there is ambiguity in the phrases he chooses. Even the rhythm of the poem can have different meanings to different people. It all depends on which words stand out to the reader.…
