Seattle is surrounded by hills and is next to Puget Sound which is a body of water that is an extension of the Pacific Ocean. It is also surrounded by Lake Washington to it’s east. Even though Seattle isn’t the capital of Washington because it’s located to the very south west, it’s still named a major city because of it’s location and it’s advantages. Seattle is surrounded by mountains on either side, so it has mild temperature with cool summers and warm winters. Seattle is also pretty high above sea level. The industry is based on aerospace and and more than eighty percent of the industry is based on finance because of the high multi transportation system. Seattle also is very big on manufacturing transportation equipment as well as the equipment being transported. Seattle basically has a very diverse economy and it also manufactures other stuff like medical equipment and electronics. Although the industry is diverse, the main spark of Seattle’s industry is its port. It allows for Seattle to be a major trading link between other states or countries.
