As I worked toward my Eagle Scout Award, I became Senior Patrol Leader of my Boy Scout Troop #83. In this role, I was to lead the troop of 15-20 active members ranging from fifth grade to twelfth grade. Tye River Elementary School is located in Nelson County, Virginia. It is a public elementary school serving children from the grades of preschool through fifth grade.
