High School are in need of better outreach programs and services to people living with mental illness. According to the National Institute of Mental Health “tens of millions of people each year” are affected by mental illnesses. However only “half of the people with mental illness receive treatment”(National Institute of Mental Health). Meaning that residents of New Albany could be in need of help, and treatment.
