At a very young age I knew that helping other people was what I was destined to do. I dabbled in law and nursing but, never felt comfortable or as confident as I did when I finally explored social work. I have always had a certain obsession with organizing. Arranging important documents into vanilla folders and double-checking labels to make sure I filed them correctly. For example, I would chronologically sort the memories of a bad college relationship into mental file cabinets “2006, 2007, and 2009,” in cerebral folders “R,” respectively.
