    Being as I’m made up of many races and ethnicities; my favorite one being Jamaican. It’s fair to say I’ve heard, and done plenty of research of the land of the Black, Green, and Gold. At the age of eight learning the whole Jamaican National Anthem, and citing it just about everyday since then. Knowing fun facts like the population of my dad’s hometown, Montego Bay, being 96,488 people. Also, people don't know Montego Bay wasn't considered a city until May 1st, 1981; seventeen years after my father was born. I can say as an early birthday present, it wasn't just a vacation, but an experience to another country that I had. It’s also a different view and aspect of life that my dad and his ancestors lived; with a long sought out dream fulfilment. A plane ride leading up to an arrival. Which will take a little over two hours to departure from Miami Florida to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Sounds like a normal experience yeah it normally is, but when you haven't been on a plane in over ten years; it's an eye-opening, ants in your pants experience. First thing was the plane ride, it wasn’t bad at all, besides the annoying flight attendant that was hard of hearing who took about half the ride just to get her rounds done. ”Huh, and Excuse me,” were her favorite words.
