    honest, what is the definition of perfect in a society or in a person? Being perfect or having perfection can be seen in many variations. Some girls had told America that they see her as annoying, while other girls see her as a threat. They don’t know that America doesn’t want any of this. She doesn't want anything to do with The Selection. America wasn't fighting for the crown, she wasn’t even fighting for the prince. When she met the prince, without a doubt or a care in the world told him that “I was here by mistake.”(Cass, 2012,116) This is basically an example how every competition is in life. Either people are more or less competitive. The only difference in this competition is, this is a fight for true love and a fight for the royal crown. Perhaps, it would help them understand the background story of why they put their name in the Selection. Also, knowing more about how their lives were before. Maybe instead of being kids and picking fights, they can act like mature girls and play it calm. But it varies on who they are dealing with and how you play your cards in this competition. Kiera Cass used “read knows more than the character” to create suspense. During the whole story, it talks about how the girls in the Selection face suspense because they aren’t sure what will happen next, or who Maxon is leaning towards.
