As a child growing up I love looking at Rocky fight because in my mind I thought Rocky was the best boxer in the world. I didn’t realize that this was a movie for the audience to think that Rocky was the best but to me he was the best. So, this movie have me believing the message they were giving out. The first Rocky movie show this man that had grown up in the hood and wanted to box and one day he a chance to prove he can box and wins. Then Rocky II showed Rocky was training to fight Apollo Creed the world champ, Apollo was not about to let this no name boxer beat him. Some of the audience was excited to see the fight and just knew Rocky was going to win because he’s the star of the movie and can’t lose. And the other half of the audience was glad Rocky won but thought this was not real because Apollo was the greatest boxer and he let Rocky beat him.
