Rachel Levy Senior Project Lofaso-Period 7 5/6/17 My senior project internship was interning at the Girl Scout Shop of Nassau County in Hicksville at 325 Duffy Ave. I enjoyed helping parents get what materials they need to start Girl Scouts and find the patches required to complete their uniform. When a customer come in we would ask if they need help or ask what they are looking for. Girls come in for a uniform, we size it for the girls and tell the parents what they need to put on the uniform patches they need to start girl scouts and the American Flag, the council ID, the troop numbers, insignia tab, world association pin, and membership pin. If we are sold out of the item we make a special order for it what they need and how many of the patch orders they need. In the Girl Scout shop we have different patches and accessories in the shop we do inventory to count each item and rubber band them. it’s cookie season, we had a kick-off celebration for the cookie season. What I do at my internship is help customers get what they need, when the phone rings we see what they need help if it’s in stock When the customer comes in I bag the merchandise items we just sold. We also sell Mags&Munchies around the Fall Season and we also sell the left-over Girl Scout cookies when…

I joined Boy Souts and thought it would be "lame", but that was the total opposite of what I thought, that also attracted me to Boy Scouts because I learned what you do…

My Access #2 There could be a lot of meanings to the quote by Colin Wilson. There could be different experiences, and also some different views on what the quote is trying to tell us. Many people might not understand the quote because they don’t know what it’s like to actually come back from failure because they had everything given to them. What I get from the quote by Colin Wilson is that average humans are used to being in some bad situations because they don’t want to try their hardest. I…
