It is the third movie in the Resident Evil series produced by Paul W.S. Anderson. Travelling across the Nevada desert trying to get to Alaska, these survivors never stay in one place for long for fear of being attacked by the walking dead. Resident Evil: Extinction is filled with non-stop action, seasoned actors, and an unbelievable story line that will leave you wanting more. Resident Evil: Extinction picks up where the last film, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, left off, with the earth withering and dying and multitudes of infected people now zombies. Responsible for the culmination of the T-virus infecting the United States, the Umbrella Corporation is trying to find a cure.
