    Wabash High School is a coed public high school located in Wabash, Indiana. It is part of the Wabash City Schools. There are approximately 500 students enrolled at the school, and the student to teacher ratio is 23:1. The school has classes for students in grades 9 through 12. The student gender breakdown is 53 percent male and 47 percent female. WHS has a college ready index is 7.2. During state assessments, 60 percent are proficient in English, while 47 percent are proficient in math. WHS has a graduation rate of 93 percent. WHS has a full athletic program, and its teams are called the Wabash Apaches. The school is part of the Three Rivers Conference. Team colors are orange and black, and there are varsity teams for both boys and girls. sports played include baseball, softball, wrestling, football, and track among others. The WHS Boys' baseball team won the state title in 1986. Students are required to take a number of classes in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Health, Physical Education, and electives to graduate. There is a 40 state credit requirement for graduation. Additional requirements are in place for students wishing to either graduate with honors with Advanced Placement coursework or technical honors with Dual enrollment classes. In addition to the standard curriculum, there are academic tracks for Honors Graduation, Advanced Placement, and Dual Enrollment.
