Germany has unique qualities such as its geography, history, culture, economy, and its current events. Geography, Climate, and Location First, to start with, Germany has a very diverse geography, from the open flatlands and gently rolling hills to beautiful lake district and intense river valleys. They have a variety of mountain ranges and large areas of forest.(Hargrove, Jim). Germany is located in the heart of Europe, it’s a total of 137,854 square miles with a population of 79,758,764.(Germany History.). To the west its boundaries are Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. To the south is Switzerland and Austria. Czechoslovakia and Poland are to the East.(Germany History.).They get a lot of rainfall over the year but mostly in summer. In the winter their average temperature is 38° F and in the summer it is 72°F. They have mild summer and wet winters, rainfall amounts are heavier to the north, and snowfall is heavier in the south.(Culturegrams). The “Enchantment of the World Germany.” says,”One famous place in Germany is the Black Forest. Forest covers about ⅓ of Germany’s land.
