stick his foot out a little bit, so that the attention was on his Nike tennis shoes. The shoes were obviously new and something he valued greatly. As the boy walked up to the desk he said, “Hi, my names Evan! I’m so excited to be here. I drove for over an hour to be here!” An hour? I thought to myself. Is he crazy? “Hi I’m Nathiya, I’m the assistant coach! Do you have a racquet?” I said, almost immediately feeling bad for asking. “No I don’t, I was hoping that you had one you could loan me, just for today” he said in a hopeful way, as he looked down at his shoes. I turned to the pile of racquets behind me, picking up the best looking racquet and handed it to him. “They match your shoes”, I said as he looked down at them once again, blushing. “You can wait on court one for now, we’re gonna start in a few minutes” I said as he ran over to the court, as quickly as he could. The rest of the kids started piling in, most of them wearing the exact same clothes as Evan and each asking for a racquet. I handed each one a racquet making sure they knew it was okay to ask for one. Through the years I’ve had to lend racquets to my friends and opponents because they couldn’t afford to buy their own. When all the kids had checked in, at the top of his lungs David yelled, “Hello everyone! I’m so excited to see how much progress we make in this week, and trust me there will be a lot! To start off, we’re gonna count off by two’s. One’s with me, two’s with Nathiya.” The kids all ran over,…

Although you may believe that all the equipment you need to play tennis is a…

years-old, I saw my sister at tennis practice (she was 9 years-old) and my big curiosity wanted me to try it. I told my parents I wanted to do the same thing my sister was doing, and they signed me at the same place she practiced, Fairland Aquatics Center. The first practice was with the tennis coach named Kevin, whom I still know to this day. He gave me a kid-sized Penn Racquet and told me to run around the tennis court two times. It had a red, black, and silver cosmetic to it, and I…

they want a larger range of people using and promoting their products. They also want have the ambassadors write reviews on the products and let people know that Babolat makes a good product.
