theories, such as, the quantum theory of gravity. There are business and leadership theories, such as, the trait theory. There are even social psychology theories, such as, the social exchange theory. Theories are created to explain different things, based on general principles that are independent of the thing to be explained. The quantum theory of gravity was created with the combination of the quantum theory and the theory of relativity. “Both theories fail when confronted to the other 's 'domain ', and are therefore limited in their ability to describe the universe. One must unify these theories and make them compatible with one another” (source1). Quantum theory is about atoms, molecules, and fundamental particles; while the theory of relativity notes that gravity is the bending and warping of space-time (source1). Every approach to quantum gravity has a few problems; the loop quantum gravity approach is a way to quantize space time while keeping what general relativity teaches. But, the problem is that the other forces in nature, electromagnetic, strong and weak, cannot be included in the same formulation (source1). The string theory approach is a quantum theory which is large enough to include the standard model and includes gravity as a must. The problems are laid in no one knowing what the physical vacuum in string theory is, among other issues (source1). There are other approaches and each one has problems. This is why quantum theory of gravity is a theory,…

which shows it crashing into the ground while surrounded by a field of electricity. Presumably shocking and paralyzing anyone close enough. It appears the only way to take the bird down is by either removing the engines from its wings or disabling its lightning gun. The video doesn’t actually show you defeating the beast, so this beast may prove to be quite difficult. Lastly, we have the Behemoth. The Behemoth uses its giant stature and its ability to manipulate gravity to hurl immense boulders…

There are many theories that there was a girl that was killed on Gravity road and now forces cars that are in neutral and objects back up the hill so they don't go through the same tragedy she went through. A group of boys wanted to test this phenomenon and they decided to go on a road trip and test it out. they came to the stop sign and to their amazement it worked and they went back up the hill. There are many legends of what people think happened and one of them was a lady and her husband…

To experimentally measure the downward acceleration solely due to gravity at the surface of the earth and with negligible air resistance on a free-falling object, a piece of clear plastic with evenly spaced black bars, labelled as a “picket fence,” was suspended from a string and dropped through a Photogate sensor. This software is used to measure the actual acceleration of gravity to compare it to the value provided by literature review. The Photogate sensor transmits an infrared beam of light…

In order to find the answer to this question, it must be broken down. What are photons? How does gravity affect light? What is a black hole? A photon is typically seen as a particle or wave representing a quantum of light or other electromagnetic radiation. A photon carries energy proportional to the radiation frequency but has zero rest mass. Photons are currently best explained by quantum mechanics. However, it is important to know that photons have both the qualities of waves and particles…

but I did take an interest in mathematics and science. While at college, I studied physics and math. After graduating, I worked in a government office. Meanwhile, I continued studying physics on my own. Q: Which area of science did you work in? A: I was in Theoretical Physics. My research was related to Universal Physics and Quantum Physics. A Theoretical physicist has a job that combines observation with mathematics in order to create complex formulas that describe the workings of…

General relativity is fundamentally incompatible with quantum mechanics- they have been at odds with each other since its discovery in 1915- relativity breaks down at the subatomic level and vice versa. A conjecture by two physicists may finally reconcile relativity with quantum mechanics and put an end to the chain of inconsistencies began by Hawking’s information paradox. Albert Einstein first discussed the concept of quantum entanglement in a 1935 paper co-written with his colleagues Boris…

Albert Einstein designed his own laws of nature. He changed the way we use to see light, gravity, and time. Most scientists in our day in age agree with what Albert Einstein has declared, but some scientists seemed to not understand what he was saying. Albert Einstein gave scientists the ability to know that atoms and molecules exist through Brownian motion. Albert was one who experimented the photoelectric effect in which he established that light has both a wave and a particle. Light particles…

“My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.” -Stephen Hawkings. This is exactly what Stephen Hawking is working to do by piecing together parts of the universe. Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942, in Oxford, England. When Hawking was young, he showed a strong passion for science and the sky. When he was 21, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS. ALS is a very progressive disease…
