In the series Six Feet Under, the underlying color scheme is muted and cold. The strategic use of color in the series coincides with the underlying theme of death throughout the show. The first instance of the dark color scheme is shown during the show’s theme song, in the theme song there are many items that appear in gray, brown, and white colors. The flowers in the opening song of the show start off with bright green and pink colors, which quickly turn to dark brown dull colors as the flowers…
Walking into Hemlock Creek Elementary School, I get a feeling that I do not feel at any other school. I was able to attend this school the first two years after it was built. A great number of memories have been made here by the kids heading to school. The children are kind and greet you every day. During the summer, a lot of additions were being made to this somewhat new school by Miron Construction. They were adding a new gym and many new classrooms because the school was expanding quickly.…

Outcome 2 I choose to use SA2 for this outcome. This assignment is about analyzing the rhetorical choices and evidences choices made by others. I need to have a good understanding about the correct use of rhetorical choices in order to make just judgement about whether others make effective rhetorical choices or not. In addition, the evidences play an important role in a persuasive paper, so I also need to determine whether the authors choose effective evidences to support their main claims.…
I am becoming an adult in a society where there is a constant fear of the type of society my children will one day grow up in. Dreaming constantly of a world where all kids have to do is play outside endlessly until they have to attend kindergarten. Hence wishing that children did not need to know how to use technology until they are in middle school. Despite all the dreaming and wishing we must all face the inevitable truth that our world is constantly changing and we must all adjust. Children…
Everyone has a reason why they chose the career they did. I like to think my reasoning is special, sad but special. Some people decided it because they just like the job, but I had a life changing experience that decided it for me. I decided in fifth grade that I wanted to help people when I grow up and that has been my plan ever since. The exact careers I have picked has changed, but they all had to do with helping people. There are always things that happen in our lives that impact us greatly…

We helped teach pupils in a primary school, while learning about the way they lived and seeing the different ways in which their life and culture was different to ours. Working with the pupils allowed me to develop my communication skills as they didn’t understand some of the things we were teaching so I had to use visual communication to explain. The trip required us to have respect for and gain the respect of the primary students, the teachers, and the many other people we…
