I told him that wasn’t true, because the public takes such a precaution to keeping younger children safe that there wouldn’t be such drastic measures or wealth of knowledge about the situation if the threat were as small as he said. I was incorrect but because of that altercation my group stumbled upon one of the first key points we decided to include in our presentation. The fact that people believed college students are much less resilient because we are too dependent on others or ‘babied,’ through out the years leading up to college. This is also where we got the idea behind the skit. Which leads me to discus Stage #3, or the Norming Stage. By then the roles were still shifting through out the group as different members brought to light different ideas. Even though we had already selected the points we were going to present. We even agreed on a fun way to open our presentation for the audience. We all knew what we were going to be talking about and how we were going to approach them. By this point I’d say I felt a very strong feeling of cohesion. It was already easy for us to agree on the key points so when it came down to putting the project together it really flowed for us as a group.
