As a student in a graduate school for education, my only teaching opportunity that I have had teaching in an inclusive classroom was during my early childhood practicum. I was placed at HCA in a pre-preschool room. My practicum experience in this class was quite an interesting one. I didn 't know how it was going to work, but quickly saw it was easy to figure out. I did have a few mishaps because of the way my resource class operate, I often have to change my whole lesson at the last minute. It seems strange looking back on practicum and remembering how much I was dreading it before I started. I was so nervous, but I very quickly fell in love with my kiddos and teaching as a profession. I learned so much from the students, my clinical supervisor, and the rest of the school staff.
