After doing some some research, he found that other peoples experiments that Act II popcorn popped the fastest. In another hunt, he found that Orville Redenbacher popped the best. He gathered several materials such as: three bags of Orville Redenbacher brand popcorn, three bags of pop secret brand popcorn, three brands of Act II brand popcorn, three bags of Jolly Time popcorn, three bags of Aldi brand popcorn, a bowl and a microwave. Using the same flavor, he made three trials of each brand. He popped each bag of popcorn for 2 minutes and 15 seconds each because that is what the instructions read. When that was completed, he measured the amount of unpopped kernels by counting the remaining ones at the bottom.
