Initially, people use to ride horses, and fast-forward to 1957 there are now cars with air conditioning. This shows how society has progressed over the years. To add on to that, this advertisement is intended for people with cars and want to add an AC unit to their car. The 1968 Pontiacs wide track Is a great advertisement for the sports car. In the ad, you notice everyone is at a football game, but there is only one car parked next to the game. It makes you want to be the guy with the sports car. The guy with the sports car looks like the cool guy that gets all the ladies, smiling, and having a great time. This visual is basically saying get a Pontiac sports car and you can be like this guy. The intended audience for this ad is upper-class teenagers.
