Mistakes Were Made To error is human, is something everyone has heard at least once in their life. However, many people take this for granted by continuing to error in the same way multiple times. Realizing that I made a mistake, and I am truly repentant of it will grant me forgiveness, however, if I keep making that mistake, then forgiveness comes to pity and disgust. I made a mistake this past summer that could have changed my life, and possibly even ended it. I learned many things from this mistake/accident which include: Life can be taken in an instant, so you need to be a good person; secondly, taking responsibility for the mistake can show people around you how you know what you did was wrong; and lastly, simple mistakes can become deadly, so exercise practical precaution. I happened to make a very small mistake that changed my life in many ways. First off, I learned, from my mistake, that life can be taken before you know what happened, so you need to look at your life and make changes. When I was riding my dirt bike this past summer, I did not know what a small mistake could mean to my life. I decided to try jumping my bike off of a little hill, but the wrong way. This small mistake resulted in a wreck that I do not remember. After coming out of my concussion, I was told that I could have died if I did not wear my helmet.
