Mr. McGregor is one of the suspects that killed Peter according to many valid reasons and proof. First off, Peter had three stabs on his back, which means a weapon that killed Peter must consist of three blades. The first theory is the pitchfork which leads to Mr. McGregor. Farmers are known for having a pitch fork, therefore the tool allowed Mr. McGregor to kill Peter. To continue on, according to an assumption, the pitchfork was found in the pond near the McGregor’s farm. This proves that the murder scene happened near the McGregor’s farm. Another evidence was the clue of the dead fish. Mr. McGregor must have used the pitchfork to hunt dead fish, which explains why it was found near the pond. Also, if you look into the character’s perspective,…

was a key hanging from a string. I took it over to the barn to see if it worked on the lock, and surprisingly it worked. As we opened up the barn door,we heard a noise in back of us, as we turned we saw the pitchfork stuck in the ground behind us and the scarecrow was gone. Then we heard a rustling on the other side of the barn, and a black hooded figure flashed by a window. We all screamed, and ran as far away from the barn as fast as we could. “ I don’t know about you guys, but I have…

stretched out long to of with this American Gothic house.” In other words, the painting features a formal, older couple with morose expressions on their faces. The woman, wearing a tight frown and furrowed brows stares off toward the left. The woman is also dressed in a colonial print apron, with an ornate brooch, with her hair in a tight bun. Behind her ear, is a loose tendril of hair. Although everything about her suggests a serious personality, this loose tendril shows a softer side to her or…

In regards to the play, "The Christians," by Lucas Hnath, the controversy the Christians vs. Christians, quarrel about the existence of hell. Ultimately, the idea that hell does not exist in the presence of Christianity seems absurd, since Christians deem the origin of evil behavior to be stored there. In another literary work "the philosophy of pitchforks," it also reassesses the image of hell. Pastor Paul did have a good point when he stated that the Bible "does not say hell" (Hnath 37). The…

DNA fingerprinting is a process used to tell the difference between people by using samples of their DNA. This process has been a huge factor in cases like the Mann vs. Pitchfork case in 1986. A fifteen year old girl, Lynda Mann, was abducted in England. Her body was found raped and murdered in a ditch the next day. Three years later, near the same location, another woman was the victim of the same occurrence by a man named Richard Buckland. Forensics specialists to test the suspect's DNA but…

There is a significant amount of differences between Dante's image of Satan (for example, the three-faced, silent being stuck in ice) and more usual images of Satan (for example, the pitchfork-wielding devil in fire). I choose this topic because I thought the way Dante portrays Satan in Dante’s Inferno was a very interesting and different way than the way Christians and other modern religions portray him. There have many papers and articles written about this that have changed my perspective of…
