Philosophy of dialogue

Buber shows us his philosophy of dialogue in two different relations.Them being the I-It relations and I-Thou relations. It is seen that an I-It relation is the normal everyday relation of a human being toward his/ her surroundings in which someone can look at someone as an It and not have a close relationship by any means. On the contrary the I-Thou relation shows the individual within a close relationship with another human with his or her entire being. This relationship becomes a genuine relationship within 2 people.
