    At the college I attend there is a chapter of the honors society called Phi Theta Kappa. Phi Theta Kappa is an international honors society with a mission of encouraging academic success in two year colleges. I am a chapter officer with in the group. With being an officer I am able to go to the regional conferences with in the region my chapter belongs, which is the Minn-Kota region. The spring regional conference for the Minn-Kota region was hosted at Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
