    When my parents said that we would be taking a vacation to the Petrified Forest National Park, I am not going to lie, I was bummed. The only reason I went was that we were taking our dog because this was one of the most animal friendly parks. We flew out of O’Hare Airport, and landed at the Regional Airport-Inw. Then, we took a 1 hour car ride to the city of Holbrook where we stayed for the night. The next day we took a trip to the park, and we started out going around the Discovery Center.
