    explains how air pollution, especially particulate matter, has an influence regarding respiratory problems. Particulate matter is the leading cause for health problems and premature deaths. We are trying to address is the amount of air pollution in the form of particulate matter that needs to be cleaned for students on campuses. Asthma plays a big part in medical costs, lost school and work days, and early deaths. We have three possible solutions to better our air. Our main solution is to use an air purifier that will clean up the particulate matter in the air surrounding the Stockton campus. This uses solar panels to cut electricity costs, and wind turbines that will save us on the costs of energy needed.…
