    My Writing Style Analysis

    and re-read what I am wanting to summarize, take a few important words out of the material I am reviewing and jot those down, then go back and write what is needed to complete my sentence or idea. Once I have completed my writing, I will review and make sure I have properly cited my work. Using the guidelines discussed in our “Read Section”, and following the instructions listed on how to source correctly should avoid paraphrasing mistakes and plagiarism. The three main guidelines to follow are; “1. Any borrowed material, named the source as part of your own writing, 2. Make sure the material is really in your own words when you paraphrase, 3. Cite the source exactly.”(Bethel University, 2013, p.12) There are other items I will be looking out for while writing such as using a direct quotation, summarized material, visual and graphics along with paraphrases to make sure I have properly cited so that I don’t run into any pitfalls when writing.(Bethel University, 2015) References: Bethel University.
