While attending the Fresno Art Museum I came across a specific piece by Hung Liu, titled Huang-Jun: Imperial Warriors drawn in a oil canvas in 2001. This painting depicts a group of possibly Chinese soldiers. The group of soldiers seem to be part of the medical staff during a time of war since they’re all wearing red crosses on their chests and the background of the image seems harsh. My final project for Art Appreciation titled Love the Ocean, Don’t Leave Trash, was an engaging experience.
