Outdoor Ed was a 3 day, 2 night field trip that the sixth grade class got to go on. We traveled to the YMCA of the Rockies where we had amazing food, excellent classes, and a campfire to top it all off. The food at Outdoor Ed was spectacular. support the proposed plans because I feel like the community benefits of the plans outweigh the potential environmental risks. A huge part of Duluth is the amount of outdoor recreational activities that one can do here. Spirit mountain is a tremendous recreational area and I believe that by expanding and creating more opportunities for outdoor activity, the community of Duluth will become happier and healthier. The environmental issues that are presented with the expansion have been addressed…
For my mini-ethnography, I decided to choose Harold A Henry Park, a park that is in the middle of Windsor Village and has been apart of that community for a while now. I picked this park because it has a great deal of meaning to me and is my neighborhood park. I grew up only a block away from this lovely park which is in the middle of a residential area. I use to walk to the park almost everyday and play soccer or in the jungle gym with all the other little kids who lived in the area, this park…
